Rossen Milanov conducts Symphony in C in a rare performance with Philadelphia's Wanamaker Organ, celebrating the centennial of the world's largest pipe organ! A special selection of masterly works for organ and orchestra, including Alexandre Guilmant's Symphony No. 2, Joseph Jongen's Hymne Op. 78 for Organ and Orchestra and Charles-Marie Widor's Sixth Symphony in G minor for Organ and Orchestra will showcase the formidable resources of the Wanamaker Organ and the Symphony in C. This special concert is hosted by the Friends of the Wanamaker Organ and Macy's Philadelphia.

"This will be the second time I will have the pleasure of collaborating with Peter Richard Conte at the amazing space in Philadelphia's Macy's store featuring the largest pipe organ in the world. Having had the chance of performing in this unique venue before, I still remember the vibrancy, grandeur and the thrill of hearing this incomparable instrument live. The repertoire will display not only the limitless possibility of the Organ, but also will give an opportunity to hear the exciting musicians of Symphony in C in a role you have never heard them before."
