What age did you begin playing a musical instrument?
6 years old

Why did you choose the instrument you play?
I attended many classical concerts when I was very little, and violin was the instrument that really appealed to me. I instinctively felt that I want to play this instrument.

Who is your favorite composer, and favorite work? Why?
Rachmaninov. I am really in love with his second symphony with its glorious melodies and rich harmonic language.

How many years have you been performing with Symphony in C?
3 years

What’s your favorite part about playing in Symphony in C?
Maestro Milanov…what a sensational musician he is!

Where do you aspire to be in ten years? And what do you plan to do?
I would love to be a member of one of the leading orchestras here in the U.S. or in Japan.

What are you currently listening to on your I-pod?
I don’t own one… Nielsen Violin Concerto

What other interests outside of music do you share, if any?
I enjoy taking care of my two sweet cockatiels--Pupu and Maru.
