What age did you begin playing a musical instrument?
  8 years old

Why did you choose the instrument you play?
I’ve always just loved the sound of the flute

Who is your favorite composer, and favorite work? Why?
It’s hard to choose a favorite.

How many years have you been performing with Symphony in C?
8 years

What’s your favorite part about playing in Symphony in C?
It is very inspiring to play under Rossen because music just pours off him when he is conducting and he gives so much energy to the orchestra.  I’m also inspired by the other musicians in the group.

Where do you aspire to be in ten years? And what do you plan to do?
I hope very much to be playing in an orchestra full time and teaching as well.

What are you currently listening to on your I-pod?
Beethoven’s symphonies and piano concertos

What other interests outside of music do you share, if any?

Running, camping, yoga. Spending time outdoors!
